How did you came up with your name?

So, a couple or more of you guys have some super weird _(jk) and cool nicks/IGN, so I though it would be interesting to know how you created them or why you chose them.

 

So, I'll start.

 

As you guys know, I have two nicks:

 

YABBA

I've had this nickname since 3-4 years ago. It's origin is quite simple; just listen to the zombies in HL2 or hell, in the servers even, and you'll eventually hear that. Originally, I used to use YABBA, MY ICING since that's quite literally what the zombies say, but then I thought it was ridiculous. The name itself is ridiculous, actually, but I still feel some affection for it, and still use it to this day.

A name I created arround 2-3 years ago. To get the name, say "Just Another Trial" until you get it. "But where you got that phrase from?" you may ask. Well, I just literally came with it while I was playing

. Since it is a game about trials, now you know why I have that "TR". I recently changed it to just Janther since some people thought that the "TR" standed for "Turkey". It lacks some sense now that it is "Just Another", but it still sounds cool, if you ask me.

Alex Johnson is a nickname I came up with like 7 years ago.

I started to play more and more online games and needed a name that sounds nice and you have to admit, it does sound right. I was playing Sherwood Dungeon and Metin2 at the moment I thought this name, SD is a pretty old game that you can play in your browser, Metin2 is Metin2.

Some people in my real life started to call me Alex too.

It eventually became a part of my life...

  This nick name when I entered the world of online games and social media. When I came up this ign since 12 years from various Japanese online games and the origin is not planed as I expected, just randomly picked that.

   After 3 years, I decide to change my ign for a new forum that I joined, this ign sounds very funny in different perspective, and I joined foreign communities just for killing my boredom. Just for the lols.

   When I stumble CS:S for the first time so I decided for a cool foreign nick name. Good old days, It's kind of nostalgic to hear that nick name again. It has good memories. And that time that I decide to be a modder which I only make weapon skins, and turns out fine. I joined a Russian modding community which it is nowhere to be found today. I met some Russian players and make friends. One of the nicest Russian players I met, quite rare today*. They mentioned me that they want to make my Russian like ign, and so I came this name called-------

 

Vlan Tross (Present)

   Long story short, 4 years spending on a Russian modding community and I came up this ign for a successful community and carve it to a monolith of that community. "Vlan" has a story, which I call it "successful" which I just defined it that way. And "usefulness" which the modding community defined not me. And today still using that ign because It has good memories that delights me the most.

How did I came uo to  >BELUGA?!

Before I begin, I want to state I'm not a dirty drinker!  

 

 

NOT DIFFICULT. Some 8 years ago, when the elite Russian vodka brand "Beluga" was introduced for 1st time in my country Bulgaria, no one knew 'bout it. In fact it became popular 3 years ago. I had relatives in Russia and every mouth they sent to my family some Russian goods as dark chocolate and sweets & etc. + 2-3 bottles of Beluga for my dad, who hates vodka ...don't worry, I took a good care of them. 
   I didn't drunk them alone, but brought 'em to parties. After a while, my friends started calling me Beluga as a nickname. Even though my father said, my character overlaps pretty much the famous fish Beluga, to which the particular vodka is named. THAT FISH IS PRETTY DAMN SMART and most difficult to catch.

Of course, Im sure Vid would be the first to say "haha natural dirty drinker" (thank you Vid), but I actually drink most of the time just for pleasure.

Red Power Ranger : This was my first ever name i was using for about 2-3 years! I was a big fan of power rangers and yet i still am and since i loved the red one most i used this one as my name !

 

VaNsTeR: I am using this name now since 2 years! I came up with this name cuz i was thinking of a cool name everytime in my brain! And i endet up with this one!

Actually my real nickname was:

 

- FideLink: Taken from The Legend of Zelda (Nintendo Game) character name. Who? It's the name from the main Protagonist character of the game. And his name is Link. He has many nickname. But when he use Fierce Deity mask (From Majora's Mask Series), he called "Fierce Deity Link". So his name made me came up on my mind so I call myself "FideLink" (FIerce DEity LINK). BUT, I use other name AFTER that ^ and I only use this name on CS game (any of it):

 

- striker: Taken from Youtube video name: Counter - Strike Stick Animation (one of stickman character) (by FlashDeck Animation). And actually I use this name before FideLink but It change to FideLink and 1 month later I change it back....

 

BUT I'm still use FideLink cuz it's my original nickname and u can find it on Youtube too!
