Re-Branding The Community
Operation Re-Branding

We have started to Re-Brand the community to give it a refreshment and a new base.
As we didn't want it to be that big of an change, we decided to go few steps behind and come back as EUFrag as where we started from.
The reason we didn't use this name originally was because it was taken by a domain re-seller company, that held the domain for 2 years.
After they decided to give it away, we managed to get it back to ourselves. We could have also come up with a new unique name,
but it would have been too much work, especially for the current state of the community. This was fast and easy solution.
We meant to take over the old EUFrag Steam Group for ourselves, and by first look it seemed promising.
Now we realize we can't demote old moderators from the group, nor access to group permissions and change it.
That reason we will have to consider creating a whole new group, or just stick with our current one, which uses the name of CS-Frag.com,
as being the reason to create/switch the group. Will make another announcement once we have decided about it.
CS-Frag Facebook Group aka. "EUFRAGFOREVER" will be also taken down and switched to perform as a page,
where we will share community content and announce important stuff. If you only follow us via Facebook,
go and like our page on Facebook, and receive notifications immediately when new content is posted.
Currently it looks empty, but we will make the switch very soon, this as being an early warning for everyone.
Here are some other stuff we have been up-to:
Closing CS:S Zombie Escape & Zombie Mode
For long time the servers has been inactive and not much updates pulled out recently, nor events.
We will begin with closing CS:S Zombie Escape and Zombie Mode servers, and they will be moved to CS:GO.
Official closing date haven't been decided yet. Depending if decent amount of members are up for final events.
Otherwise the servers will be closed 10th of February on Sunday. (Vote in the poll top of the topic)
As replacement, we will be opening Dust2 Deathmatch server for CS:S, along with Minigame and Bunnyhop.
New CS:GO Servers
We have NOW opened our "very" first CS:GO servers, starting with Zombie Escape and Zombie Mode.
Once CS:S servers has been closed, we can transfer the old statics for new servers to keep them safe.

Currently the servers only has the very basic settings done, so they work and are playable. After seeing how they work with more players,
we will made changes upon that. More servers to be opened very soon.
New Fast Download Server
As some of you have complained about the download speed being slow or not able to download all,
we took a look at the download speeds of our old server, and apparently the download speed was very unstable,
sometimes going from MB to KB and so on. We now have a new server for FastDL, and should be stable and faster then previous one.
Changes In Forum
As for forums, I took my time customising the previous theme to results like this.
Dark, soft, grayness, friendly for your eyes. All not-so-popular old topics has been moved to forum archives
to make the forums easier to browse and find up-to-date content.
A new homepage is on its way, which shows you the most important announcements of the community.
Those topics will appear in Announcements forum. All minor changes and updates will be made under the main forum
of Announcements, "Events & Announcements" -forum.
Player reports are now hidden from public view. Reports are only viewable by the reporter and the admin team.
No more drama and hate between players. Admin abuse and unban requests will be proceed in public.
We have also updated the forum chat box, which fixed recently used emoticons. Final words
There are still stuff to discuss about, such as the in-game store credits and other minor things.
More info about them coming with their own announcements. Most of the things will happen once we have got rid of
CS:S ZE and ZM servers, like the domain change. So vote in the poll if you are interested of the last events on those servers.

Changes In Forum New forum theme customized from the previous theme. Forums has been cleaned and old posts moved into archives. Gaming and PC Hardware forums has been moved under General Discussion forum. All old player reports has been archived, and now on they will be only seen by the reporter
and server admins. Admin Abuse and Unban request will remain visible for registered users. Fixed recently used emoticons in Chatbox

Halloween Events 2018
It's again the scariest time of the year! And we got some events for you! They will be held from 29th of October till 4th of November. Halloween skins has been added for ZE/ZM/BHOP servers. Rewards of the events will be added later on the topic.

HIDERS = Choose your prop and teleport to the map. Stay alive for 3 minutes in order to win! SEEKERS = Your objective is to hunt down the hiders. Each time you fire your gun you lose 10 HP.

Slender is back again! We must find all the missing 8 pages to kill him and escape this place!
When the first page has been collected, slender will appear and will start chasing players. If you stare into slender's face, he will take you to a place where no one will ever find you ~ death awaits.

Your team has to defend the castle from the attacking units. The units walk a path around the castle before they enter inside. You have to stop them from destroying the stone of destiny. There are several unit waves, after 3 waves you have to kill a boss before he kills you! Protect the stone, no matter what the cause!

Aim is to kill the enemies and be the last man standing. With 'E' you throw bombs. When looking on the ground,
while pressing 'E' you lay a bomb. You can kick a bomb by running towards the bomb that's on the ground. After 3 minutes of playtime sudden death starts which cause the lava to rise. There are boxes that can be broken to get special power ups as follows:

Killing Floor 2 has released the 'Monster Masquerade' Halloween update for their game.
The game contains a Versus Mode which may not be the most popular at least for the moment,
but we will be trying it out this Friday at 9 o'clock! There's slots for 12 players.
As map is going to be 'Monster Ball' on medium length (7 waves) on hard difficulty.
We play 2 matches so everyone can try the game from both points of view!

3rd Anniversary - Events Schedule
We are proud to announce that we are having our 3rd Anniversary, which means that our community is turning 3 years!!
As usually, we always try to come up with the most unique events we can possibly organize, and this time there are
some old borrowed, also something totally different and new! Also this time we decided to host events
for CS:GO (DDR & Paintball) and ofc for CS:S (Rally Race, Zombie Escape & Battle Royale).
During the Anniversary, everyone will have free VIP from 7th of September till 16th.
Down below you can see what we have planned for this year anniversary. All events are hosted at
6 PM (GMT +3). Rewards and winners will be given/announced at the last day of the anniversary.
Hopefully seeing many of you as possible at the events. Don't forget to invite your friends!
- Walk to DJ to 'request' a song and start a match (a menu will pop up). After song has been picked, go stand on solo platform.
- During the match microphones will be automatically disabled.
- Server also includes other songs and more difficulties you can play for fun and challenge your friends.

CS:S Dust2 Deathmatch | FFA
[EUFrag.com] Dust2 Deathmatch | FFA | Anti-Cheat
CS:S Dust2 Deathmatch server has been opened to replace CS:S ZE and ZM servers.
You can join the server on IP: 87.98.174.44:27015
Currently the server is set to FFA mode with 8 bots, so it doesn't get boring when there's not that many players.
FFA means that everyone is playing by themselves without any help from teammates. You may kill anyone you like,
any time you like, however you like. There is no team killing, and you wont lose any points from it.
The bots will vacate automatically one by one every time a player joins the server to replace the bot.
One match will take 1 hour, when the map will be restarted and scores will be reset.
For Future Updates/Changes/Testing:
- Making the server Team Deathmatch +64 slots
- Dust2 without DM enabled
- Players suggestions..

6th Anniversary - Events Schedule 2021
This is the time and month of the year we are celebrating our 6 year old community and togetherness!
Last year, we missed the event for exceptional reasons, so this year we will make it double!
We are hosting anniversary events on our servers that anyone can participate.
The events will take place in week 38, 24-26 September 2021. More information and dates of the events can be found below.
At the end of the minigame and zombie mode events, we will be giving out 100 store credits to each participant!
Top of it all, everyone will have access to VIP features and earn 2x store credits from 20.9 until 1.10.
NOTE: During Free VIP time, active VIP players time has been extended.

EUFrag - Crab Game Tournament
Did not get invited to this years wildest reality game? No worries! We invite you!
Welcome to our Crab Game Tournament!
"Crab Game is a First-Person Multiplayer game where you play through several different minigames based on children's games,
until only one player stands victorious." The game is available for free on Steam - Crab Game
The game has partice mode, so get started!
The Tournament will be held once a day at the end of this week, Friday 17.12. through Sunday 19.12.2021 at 6 PM.
We play total of three rounds. Each tournament has room for 40 players at a time.
1# First round will be only for fun and to warm up.
2# Second round will be the official round, where the winner will be awarded with a random Steam Code and 2 months of VIP status.
3# Third round we compete from silver place, and the winner gets 1 month of VIP status.
We suggest that you try out the game before the tournament! Here's a little tutorial video on the game movements tips.

9th Anniversary - Events Schedule 2022
We are indeed having community events for this anniversary! Make sure to join on our discord voice channel before event starting.
Everyone is welcome to join us, and you're not required to use or have microphone if you don't want to.
If you are wondering how did we skip from our 6th anniversary to 9th anniversary, continue reading the article!
1st Anniversary event will be on this Friday 30.9. We are starting by playing on our minigame server, and after on zombie escape.
2nd event will be hosted this Saturday, 1st of October. This time starting the opposite way, zombie escape first and after minigame.
On both events we let members in our discord voice-channel to decide of the maps we want to play. Final decision will be made by a vote in-game.
Both events are starting at 6 PM (GMT+3)
Minigame map suggestions: mg_serpentis_temple, mg_stone_of_destiny & other casual multigame maps (Swag, lego, jcks..)

1st Anniversary Event 2nd Anniversary event
Little History About Us (Click here for short version TL;DR)
Seven years has been passed since we turned a new page in eufrag history. Seven is a familiar number to many of you, but 'unofficially' this will be already our 9th anniversary.
EUFrag was originally founded by player called Butcher, in June 2013. We met by playing in several different zombie escape servers, just when ze_FFVII_Mako_Reactor was on, just like rest of the ze players back then. We had known each other for a while, and once Butcher told me about his idea for a new zombie escape server he was going to set up. I was skeptical at first about how it would succeed, as there were many other active zombie escape communities at the time. The server got a lot of attention thanks to active players and daily events. In the end, the server reached CS:S's top #6 most played server according to GameTracker page.
Why is butcher no longer involved in the community? The first time he disappeared was in 11 Oct 2013 (or early 2014). He was last seen on the forums on 10 June 2014, after he disappeared without leaving a trace. At that time, we tried to get in touch with him and ask where he has been lurking. Despite his long absence, he did not leave any message about himself. However, that was the last time he was ever seen again. Butcher's probable disappearance is related to the war that began in Ukraine on February 23, 2014. According to rumors, he had a high military rank, which would indicate that he had to serve in the defense forces for a special mission. So to make this clear now, his disappearance is not because I just YOINKED the community from him, and locked him in my basement .
The servers were running for a year after Butcher's last visit. Server still had huge popularity and active players. However, a slight lack of rights started to be an unpleasant problem. Basic admins did have rights to change maps, but at that time mako, minas and other special maps were kept behind higher admin permissions. Fortunately, at least one of the staff members had been granted higher admin rights. T-Money was the leading admin of the community from the beginning. By this time, most of the staff members had already quitted playing actively, so in the end there was only me and @Stefan, whom were active until the end. The original staff consisted of nine members: Butcher, Kayos, T-Money, Me, Piffko, @Stefan, nseven, respec and Orochimaru. Later, The miguel, @SlayeR, @Reda, @knives, Clutcher joined the group.
June 2015, the time we were all waiting for finally happened. The Servers stopped from existing the next day we looked up from the servers list. We had already expected the day to come any time soon, and started planning together with the community members "The Plan B". We were not just ready to give up on our memories we had from the servers, so we wanted to find a place to continue the community. As myself being a member of the admin team for three years, and being one of the person who had previous experience of creating servers, the decision was clear. Several members were involved in planning "the plan B". To mention some names, let them be @Leda, @SnoWolf, @knives, @Stefan, @XXitachi, and @ Tariq. Apparently someone else knew it too that the servers had gone down, and started competing with us by calling their servers after EUFrag. However it wasn't long before they were no longer heard or seen.
May 2015 we founded ZMKillerz together with @Stefanand with a help from @Sani Messiah. We couldn't really use the name EUFrag, because the domain name was taken by a domain reseller company, and we had lack of basic rights in the steam group. I don't remember why we didn't immediately implement "The Plan B" together with the people mentioned earlier. Later however, this was done and the community was named #Hashtag-Zombies in July 2015 (Idea by @SnoWolf). I think we all still agree, that it's better than Suggested Pandora's box . After some time I started to think about the name and was hoping it would be more similar to the original, so we changed it just ONE more time, and we got the name CS-Frag (January 7, 2016). I told myself that re-naming of the community would be done now and for good. Despite of that, I was still keen on our original name, and wanted to get the domain back to ourselves. Unbelievable but true, On November 2018 the domain finally became available, and I was instantly hitting that purchase button. It took three whole years to get it back, and ever since we can proudly call our community again by its original manner, EUFrag.
Now that we have been able to stick to our original name, it is also time to correct the number of our anniversaries, of how long have we really been on this journey together.
It's been seven years since we first started something of our own, when the original servers was shut down. Nine years since the whole eufrag got its name. That for I feel it's reasonable to call this as our 9th anniversary.
TL;DR

I was still hoping that one day we could get to be called by our original community name. After three years in November 2018 the dream came true. EUFrag domain came available to purchase and we managed to get it to ourselves. Even today we can proudly call our community again by its original manner, EUFrag.
Now that we have gotten our name back to the original, it's time to correct the number of our real anniversaries. Seven years has passed since we first started something of our own after original eufrag was shutdown. Nine years since eufrag was founded the first time. That for I feel it's reasonable to call this as our 9th anniversary.
What's In the Future?
We don't know when the real end will happen, at least we haven't planned for it yet. We know that we won't be expanding from the current state. Possibly we are already reaching that point to minimize the server selection, and keep servers like bhop and minigame, which can run well without that much maintenance and effort. Currently we are planning to officially open up EUFrag minecraft network, as we have had minecraft server unofficially running for years. More information coming on a later date.
Last Words
Over the years a lot has happened, and we have already probably started forgetting some of the memories from the past. I can only humbly thank you for all the past seven(nine) years of friendships and unforgettable memories with you all! This project has had a big impact on my childhood, and I believe many of you can feel the same way! Special thanks to @ Tariq (aka. JOhn Fru. MAgick) with whom even today we have kept our community running, and allowed it to exist even today. I also want to thank @Rix :Vfor all the effort he has put especially in our bhop and minigame servers, for fixing and modifying maps for our own needs. You remind a lot of myself from the early days. Thank you! Huge thanks to all previous and current staff members who have been involved in the project, you will never be forgotten.
