Before we start working on bigger stuff, we're gonna go thru the feedback we got from you, and see what direction we have to go.

We will start off updating the server's old plugins with updated versions, and re-work on servers map lists/nominations.

 

The CS:GO servers.. we have failed with this multiple times, and came in a conclusion to close them all, and return back for them eventually

when the time is right. We are going to see if we still have any chances of reviving our servers on CS:S.

 

As a hole new feature, we've added a forum rank synchronization that combines the user's current forum rank on all our counter-Strike servers.

With this, the whole system is automated. Each donor gets his VIP features right away after the donation. So far we have managed everything manually, which has been frustrating all this time. But now, it's automatic. We can easily rewards players with VIP status and the system handles rest of the progress.

 

Currently there are no restrictions to take advantage of the free membership, and everyone has the opportunity for it by connecting their steam account to their forum user. If you are a no-steam user, you can combine your account in the same way using the Steam ID field that you will find in your profile settings. Later on, we will apply some sort of requirements, perhaps depending when you have last time visited on our forums to gain your  member benefits back in-game and forum-side. Or maybe put people in group of two, where you need to apply for membership as usually + keep your activity on forums. Thoughts..?

 

Currently being a member gives you In-Game Member tag, and also a special skin for ZE & ZM servers.

You can now also use !toggletag to toggle your tag on/off from displaying in chat.

tl;dr

We are going to see if we have any chances left to revive our cs:s servers.
CS:GO servers will be back online when the time is right.
We have a new automated system that connects your forum rank in the servers, giving you the benefits of the rank.

Currently everyone can get the free membership features by connecting your steam account to your forum user.

There are no restrictions for that at this moment, but soon there will be some for sure.

 

This is everything for now. Next up are the Halloween events,

and will work on the servers beside of that.

How to synchronize your Steam Account

1. Navigate to right top of your screen on forums, and click on your name.

2. Select Account Settings and click on 'Steam' tab.

3. Login with your steam account

4. Your steam account has been synchronized with your forum account.

 

No-Steam Users

1. Choose 'Profile' instead of Account Settings from same place.

2. Click on 'Edit Profile' and put your Steam ID where it belongs.

3. Save.

 

Easiest way of finding your steam id is going on our Stats page and finding your profile.

The Steam ID has to be in steamid32 format e.g STEAM_0:0:12345678

OR you can type !steamid in any of our server.

So sad situation w/ csgo servers T_T

And ye, I personally agree with fact that css servers need some fixes. At zm especially maps kek. Maps - big problem. Half of them not playable or bugged in some places. It's a fact. And also some more little things.

I don't know how is it going on other servers, so i can describe a current situation at zm only : P

Well, about in-forum things. I totally agree. Cuz "member" tag in game will look like a something really cool. Like an achievement.

And,also, I described it in google form, but we really need to find a way how to promote CS-Frag. If smth I guess members ready to help (me especially :lenny:)
