Fix For Low FPS

Hey y'all i know some people here have an fps problem and have shitty old PC's , i'm here to help 

Fist Step : Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\cfg 

Create a text file and past this in it

And then name the file autoexec.cfg , remember it's important to make the file .cfg or it won't work 

It may make the graphic look shit but it's worth it you'll get a better fps 

 

Second step : Go to services and look for a service named Superfetch and disable it 

#NOTE: Some PC's may have a trouble from disabling it , i'm not responsible for anything. 

 

Third Step : Go to Control Panel\System then press Advanced System Settings then on the tab performance press settings and press adjust for best performance 

Your PC may look shit but your fps will get better 

 

Fourth Step: Click on start menu and search for run after u open run type in it %temp% and press ok a folder will open , The folder is just a bunch of temporary files that your system doesn't need and kept for no reason 

Select them all and delete them , there may be some files that can't be deleted but it's ok don't freak out just delete what can be deleted

 

The Last Steps : Try to not put many icons on your desktop , Organize them in folders or whatever the fuck you want. 

 

Now go and download Driver Booster from this link : https://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php

This program upgrades the drivers on your PC like the Graphic driver , Sound driver , etc. 

 

This is all i've done to make my fps better.

then go to where is your game installed (the drive the game installed on) then cstrike\cfg and that's all be sure to follow the steps.
